Day 5

Today is the day that we went on a trip to Rhythm and Hues. We left SESI at 3rd Street Promenade in a van. We arrived at their compund at around 10.30am I think. The place and environment was good. I will upload pictures of the EXTERIOR compound tonight. But anyways, I can't comment on what is shown to us during the entire trip so I will skip it.

We got back at SESI around 2pm after having our lunch. We helped to fix up the training room which was dismantled for a purpose before. After fixing everything and settling down, I set down at the machines and started doing some shot blocking and planning for the project I am going to do. Work Work Work, after around an hour or so, we are allowed to leave office as our mentor, Steven Ong is going to bring us to a free movie screening of X-Men First Class at LA Film School. We are supposed to meet him at Venice Blvd, Overland Avenue. We took a bus there from our office.

When we arrived, we went to California Pizza Kitchen for dinner. We ordered a 14 inch Buffalo Chicken Pizza. The pizza was good, and luckily, there was exactly 8 pieces. We had our meal and Steven Ong called at that moment informing us that he was about to reach and asked us to prepare.

After our meal, we headed out and just at the moment, he arrived. He was with his wife in the front seat and we had to squeeze at the back. His wife was very nice, we introduced ourselves to her and she did the same. She chatted with us a lot while we were on our way there. The drive took around 3omins I would say. Once we arrived, the timing was just nice. 7 plus I think. We made our way inside the theatre. The theatre was like any other theatre. Just that it was slightly bigger. We sat at the back row and very soon, the movie started.

After the movie, we went outside. Brr.. It was cold at night. The movie was good though. We went with Steven Ong and his wife to collect the car. We were then given a choice for a ride through Hollywood on the way home, or go home straight. We chose the latter. The drive through was memorable. The view was magnificent at night, especially at night. We drove pass Kodak Theatre, which was the place where the Grammy Awards were held. After that he dropped us at our home and we bid goodbye.

That concludes Day 5.

Tomorrow is the WEEKENDS!
