Day 3

Today was a off day for us. Phew. We will also have the day off again tomorrow. HAHA! Anyways, today we went to Rip City Skates in the morning as Bryan wanted to take a look at skateboards.

We took a almost 30mins walk there. But no one complained about the distance though. Maybe its because walking in the States seems so much more comfortable compared to walking in Singapore. Anyways, when we reached there, the shop looks very cosy, very warm. The shop owner was also very kind and polite. He started a conversation with us and mentioned that he visited Singapore before too, he stayed in Raffles Hotel. He also said that the people there are also very nice. But one complain he had was, IT WAS HOT!

After looking around the place, we went to Carl's Jr for lunch. It was my first time having that, so it was a good experience. The food was awesome and the chilli cheese fries was so good. But the calories!

After having a full lunch, we took a walk back to Ralphs supermarket to shop for groceries. While we were shopping halfway, we realised that we didn't bring the rewards card for discounts. We started putting everything back to the shelves. When we went to pay, the lady requested for the card, but we said we forgotten to bring it. But the nice and kind lady still gave us the discount nonetheless.

After getting the groceries, we made our way home and decided to drop down to 3rd Street to walk around.

After we boarded the bus from our house to 3rd Street, I decided to take a picture of the bus interior. Unfortunately, while I was getting the shot in place, a woman came up the bus and into my camera field of view. She assumed that I was taking pictures of her and she immediately gave me the middle finger, (with a very cool pose). She started cursing and swearing at us, even took a video of us, we decided not to find trouble and alight at the next stop.

This whole incident gave me a different impression on Americans though. But not to the extend of changing everything. But anyways, We had a very enjoyable time at 3rd street, looking at all the awesome stuffs.

We then made our way home after that and cooked dinner!
Enjoy!
